Managing User Groups and Roles in MilesAhead COMMAND

Create Roles

Roles are for managing permissions in MilesAhead Command. To create a new role:

1. Login to MilesAhead Command and an Admin level user
2. Select Account Tools - Manage Roles
3. Select Add New Role
4. Enter the desired role name and a description
5. Select the desired permissions to grant to the role.
6. Click Save
   
   

Creating Groups

Groups are collections of users that have the same role and application license requirements.

1. Login to MilesAhead Command and an Admin level user
2. Select Account Tools - Manage User & User Groups
3. Select the User Groups tab
4. Select Add New Group
5. Enter the desired role name and a description
6. Select a Drive Config Version (see MilesAhead DRIVE Configuration for details)
7. Select a Role
8. Select a default application (Driver or Command)
9. Select the apps that should be granted to users within the group.
10. Click Save
