Create Roles
Roles are for managing permissions in MilesAhead Command. To create a new role:
- Login to MilesAhead Command and an Admin level user
- Select Account Tools - Manage Roles
- Select Add New Role
- Enter the desired role name and a description
- Select the desired permissions to grant to the role.
- Click Save
Creating Groups
Groups are collections of users that have the same role and application license requirements.
- Login to MilesAhead Command and an Admin level user
- Select Account Tools - Manage User & User Groups
- Select the User Groups tab
- Select Add New Group
- Enter the desired role name and a description
- Select a Drive Config Version (see MilesAhead DRIVE Configuration for details)
- Select a Role
- Select a default application (Driver or Command)
- Select the apps that should be granted to users within the group.
- Click Save
