Creating User/Driver Accounts

 This procedure only applies if you are using MilesAhead Identity Provider. If you are using Geotab, the driver needs to log in from the Drive app on the device, then an Admin needs to activate the account in Command.

To create an account, you first need to sign in to command as the new user, then sign in to Command as an Admin and activate the user that was just created.

Step 1: Sign into Command as the new user.

1. Browse to https://command-test.milesahead.cloud
2. Enter your Tenant ID and click SIGN IN
3. Enter a new Username and Password for the new account.
4. Click LOGIN
   
5. Enter First & Last name, and email address
   
6. Click Login
7. You will see a message stating that the user is inactive. At this point, the account has been created and just needs to be activated by a MilesAhead Command Administrator

Step 2: Activating a user account.

1. Browse to https://command-test.milesahead.cloud
2. Enter your Tenant ID and click SIGN IN
3. Enter your Admin account credentials and click LOGIN
4. Go to Account Tools - Manage User & User Groups
5. You should see the new user that was just added.
    Inactive users are highlighted in gray
   
6. Click the edit pencil 
7. Set the desired User Group and Role
   
   
8. Click Save
9. Click the Play button to activate the user account.
   

The user account is now ready to be used.
