Before performing the initial synchronization, you will have to configure the login username to match the first name and last name of the employee in MP2.
For example, if the user name for the User ID "jdoe" is "John Doe", then the user’s First Name and Last Name configured in the Employee table must be "John" and “Doe”. This is because Work Orders are assigned to employees and not to their logins. So to find the employee code, the Pocket MP2 Plus tries to match the user name to the first name and last name of the user.
If you do not see a user is the users' list on the device, then this relationship has not been set up.
To check User Names and Employee records in MP2:
- Open MP2 and log in as an Administrator User
- Go to Tools - Security - Users
- Find a user that you want to verify
- Go to Activities - Labor - Employees
- Find the user's employee record.
- If not found, create an employee record.
- Ensure that the First Name and Last Name on the Employee record matches the User Name
