In version 1.2.214, you can send a Push Notification to the device to retrieve the log files. When the engine receives the notification from Cyan, it will uploads logs to Cyan Files on the Cyan Portal. We've created a utility to simplify the creation of the Push Notification. Please follow the instructions below to obtain and use the utility.
This script has been code signed. If you'd like to import our certificate, please follow these instructions.
- Download the PowerShell Script from here: GetCyanLogs.ps1
- Right-click and select Run with PowerShell
- Select the Cyan Environment that the device is connected to and enter your Tenant Access Key.
If you do not know your Tenant Access Key, its listed in the Account Information section on the Cyan Portal - Click Login to Cyan and enter your Cyan user credentials
- Select or Enter the User who is currently using the device.
- Select the Application that is currently being used and click Get Log.
- The Push Notification has been sent. If the device is online, you should see the log file in Cyan Portal - Manage Files in about 30 seconds. The file will be named like this %datetime_stamp%_%device_name%_debug.zip
